Walter S. Johnson Bldg. Co., Inc. performed general contracting services for the complete renovation of the Crowne Plaza located at 300 Third Street in Niagara Falls, NY.  This was a $17.5 M renovation which transformed the 400 room Holiday Inn Select into an award-winning Crowne Plaza.  The project was completed in several phases in order to maintain hotel occupancy throughout the construction.  The scope of the renovation included the complete interior demolition and remodel of all guest rooms, the lobby area, ballrooms, restaurant and bar, gift shop and a new Starbucks location.  All areas of the hotel, including the kitchen, back of house rooms, pool and the exterior façade and landscape received updated finishes.
